The pool pays less with every coin it takes, and everyone holding watches it happen.

One buyer takes all of it at your price. The two of you swap, and the chart never hears about it.

How a trade goes

  1. List your coins

Say how many and what you want for them. The coins wait in escrow, off the market, while your order is up. Pull it whenever you like and they come straight back.

  2. Someone takes the other side

A buyer who likes your price fills the whole order. There is no auction, no slippage and no pool in the middle.

  3. One transaction, both sides

Their SOL reaches you and your coins reach them in the same transaction. If either half fails, neither moves.

Buying works the same way.

Post what you’ll pay for a number of coins and let a seller come to you. You build the position without pushing the price up on yourself first.

A big sell on a pool is a public event. It prints a candle every holder can see, and a few of them sell too. A trade on Ascend stays between the two people making it.
